About Us

OptimumPartner AI is based in Cheshire, United Kingdom, and provides developer-led AI services to app developers & AI product integrators worldwide.

OptimumPartner AI is a trading name of Cheshire Ventures Ltd, a UK-registered company. The business was established during the COVID-19 pandemic, when we created and operated Hartford Covid Supplies — a B2B operation focused on providing reliable access to COVID testing supplies during the return-to-work phase of the pandemic.

During this period, we supported organisations across the UK, including large enterprise clients, media organisations, film and television production crews, and a wide range of SMEs. The business scaled nationally and required robust online systems, dependable suppliers, and the ability to operate under significant time pressure. This experience shaped our approach today: a focus on reliability, technical depth, and delivering systems that work in real commercial environments.

Building on this background, OptimumPartner AI now provides developer-led AI services focused on integrating large language models into production software systems. We support teams with fine-tuning, evaluation, deployment, and optimisation of AI models as part of scalable applications, with a strong emphasis on performance, cost control, and operational reliability.

About the Director

Michael has an academic background in Physics, including the study of complex systems and quantitative modelling. His studies included quantum physical systems, providing a solid foundation for understanding the large-scale parameterisation and token-based architectures used in modern AI and large language models.

Outside of work, Michael enjoys alpine skiing and spending time in the mountains, with a particular fondness for the Matterhorn in Switzerland.
